Subscribe to CrunchBase Newsletters   October 03, 2013 Mountain View-based mobile app search engine Quixey has closed a $50 million Series C funding round led by Chinese ecommerce company Alibaba with participation from new investor GGV Capital and existing investors Innovation Endeavors, TransLink Capital, U.S. Venture Partners, Atlantic Bridge, and WI Harper. Quixey powers app search for major manufacturers, carriers, search engines, and web apps around the world, including Sprint and Ask.com. Founded in 2009, Quixey has raised $74.2 million in funding to date.   Israeli influencer marketing company Pursway has raised $7.2 million in Series B funding from previous investors Battery Ventures and Globespan Capital Partners. Through its social relationship-mapping database, Pursway improves customer acquisition, cross-sell and retention for businesses. Founded in 2005, Pursway has now raised over $13 million in funding.   Canadian next-gen retail startup Tulip Retail has raised $2.4 million in seed funding led by SoftTech VC with Founder Collective, BoxGroup, Lerer Ventures, iNovia, Promus Ventures, KIMA Ventures, and others participating. Founded in April of this year, Tulip provides the hardware and software necessary for in-store and online sales to help retailers own multiple channels of retail and provide similar purchasing experiences across stores, websites, and mobile storefronts.   Since the last email, CrunchBase captured more than 52 rounds and $210 million in fundings... and the data keeps rolling in.
