Google denies Trump's claim that it did not promote his State of the Union address President Donald Trump continues to complain about Google's supposed bias. He posted a video that claims while the search engine promoted the State of the Union speeches of President Barack Obama, it did not do the same for Trump's speeches in 2017 or 2018. However, Google said that's just not true: "On January 30, 2018, we highlighted the livestream of President Trump's State of the Union on the google.com homepage. We have historically not promoted the first address to Congress by a new President, which is technically not a State of the Union address. As a result, we didn't include a promotion on google.com for this address in either 2009 or 2017." 
2. Apple buys Denver startup building waveguide lenses for AR glasses The startup in question is Akonia Holographics, which manufactures augmented reality waveguide lenses. This acquisition offers the clearest confirmation yet that Apple is investing in technologies that support the development of a lightweight AR headset. 3. Lego built a life size, drivable Bugatti from over a million Technic pieces Technic, for the unfamiliar, is Lego's line of interconnecting rods, gears, axles, motors, and other parts a bit more complex than the bricks and blocks the company is best known for. 4. This is Google's Titan security key The Google-branded and in house-developed security keys are now available to buy. One is a USB key, and the other supports Bluetooth and NFC for mobile devices. 5. SurveyMonkey files for NASDAQ IPO Most recently, SurveyMonkey brought in $250 million from Tiger Global, ICONIQ Capital and Social+Capital Partnership. The financing valued the company at $2 billion. 6. Mapbox CEO says the map calling New York City 'Jewtropolis' has been 100% fixed, was 'human vandalism' This caused maps in Snapchat and elsewhere to display NYC under the anti-Semitic name. The company says it's still investigating how this happened. 7.
